A Career Built Across Continents
All American Coffee LLC was founded in 2018 by Maciek Mierzwinski — but the story behind it spans 35 years, five companies, and a journey that began in Poland and took him across Europe and eventually to the United States.
Maciek's coffee career started in 1990 in Poland, where he developed a deep passion for the green coffee trade. In 1993, he founded Polish Coffee Company S.A. — one of the first green coffee import and trading operations in post-communist Poland — establishing direct relationships with East African exporters that would define his career.
In 1995, while continuing to run Polish Coffee Company S.A., Maciek relocated to London, UK, joining Unicof Ltd and expanding his expertise in international coffee trading at one of Europe's established houses.
In 1999 he returned to Poland to become Country Head of OLAM Polska — the Polish arm of one of the world's largest commodity trading companies — a role that deepened his global supply chain knowledge and his East African sourcing network.
In 2003, Maciek made the move to the United States, where he founded American Coffee Traders, Inc., bringing his European and African expertise to the American market. Then in 2018, All American Coffee LLC was born — the culmination of everything he had built over three decades: a versatile, nimble coffee trading and processing company with deep roots in East Africa and a sharp focus on quality, transparency, and individual client solutions.
In 2023, a pivotal chapter began when inventor and engineer Emil Shultis joined the company. Mr. Shultis's exceptional engineering talent and proprietary inventions enabled All American Coffee LLC to design and commission state-of-the-art coffee extraction lines and fully automated production systems — capabilities previously accessible only to the largest players in the industry. In 2025, the company unveiled a brand-new production facility in Old Town, Florida, built around this technology. In recognition of his transformative contribution, Emil Shultis became a business partner of All American Coffee LLC in 2026 — bringing world-class engineering and coffee industry expertise together under one roof.
